Persona 5 Royal Introduces Fancy Alcoholic Drinks

Persona 5 Royal has introduced a new line of alcoholic drinks in time for the holiday season. The Persona 5 Royal bottled sake features designs based on four of the game’s popular characters: Joker, Mona, Violet, and Crow.

Persona 5 Royal is one of the most popular JRPGs in recent history, putting the franchise on the map worldwide. While many Persona series fans are eager for the franchise to release something new, in recent years, developer Atlus has put most of its focus on releasing remasters and remakes of existing games, like Persona 3 Reload and the upcoming Persona 4 Revival. As the most recognizable faces of the franchise, though, Persona 5 continues to get a lot of love by way of merchandise releases.

Persona 5 Royal Introduces Fancy Sake

One such example of this is a new line of Persona 5 Royal sake, a type of Japanese alcoholic beverage. The creation is a collaboration with Hinemos, a famous Japanese sake brand, with four separate varieties and bottle designs. The Joker Edition is described as a rich, dry sake with 15% alcohol content, while Violet’s is a sweet red sake with a 13% alcohol content. Crow’s is described as a dry sharp sake, with the same alcohol content as Joker’s. The three designs are all 500ml bottles, with a retail price of 6,600 yen each, or roughly $43.25, based on currency conversions at the time of publication. All three bottles feature artwork of their characters which are printed directly on the bottle, allowing buyers to wash and reuse the Persona 5 loot safely.

The last bottle is based on Mona, the advisor of the Phantom Thieves. Interested buyers can acquire the 170ml bottle of Mona sake, which is described as having a fruity and light aroma. This bottle has the lower alcohol content of 13%, like Violet’s, and is described as pairing perfectly with sushi, which fans of the game will recall Mona adores. Mona is included in set purchases of the other three bottles for 16,500 yen, or about $108 USD. Unfortunately for Morgana fans, this one can’t be purchased on its own. Pre-orders for the sake will open on October 10, 2025, with the bottles shipping in early December.

Fans of Persona 5 have had no shortage of things to enjoy and look forward to recently. In addition to Overwatch and Persona 5 crossing over with collaboration skins, this year will also see a special Persona 5 Big Band Concert held in Japan, while Persona 5: The Phantom X launched earlier in 2025.
