Valve has partnered with the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) to offer over 50 discounted games with 10 percent of proceeds going to the children’s charity.
The sale – running from now until 7th March, 2025 – includes games like Railbound, Summer House, and Before Your Eyes, with 10 percent going to support key services like Childline, counselling and therapy, parental advice, and delivering safeguarding training to organisations that work with children.
Whilst the NSPCC acknowledges the risks that come with online gaming, the NSPCC also hears from many young people on the benefits of playing games, both online and offline, with one 14-year-old saying: “Sometimes I get overwhelmed with everything going on around me.
